Enclosing dock shelters
The standard dock shelters, type KDR G/L, are mounted in a raised position against the facade in a loading pit. This way the floor height of the trucks and the premises are almost matching. The last part is usually brought to the same height by means of a hinged steel plate known as a dock leveller. In this way, the dock shelter itself provides a 3-sided separation around the body of the truck. As a result, the flexible plastic flaps around the dock shelter ensure optimum separation between the indoor air flows and those from the outside.

Dock tunnels
In addition to the usual dock shelters, it is also possible to supply a dock tunnel. A dock tunnel is a combination between a standard dock shelter and a retractable tunnel. This tunnel creates a closed loading platform which can then be pushed back against the facade after loading. As a result, crossing traffic remains possible.
Dock shelters to the ground
It is also possible to work with a dock shelter to the ground if you are looking for a draught seal around the opening. These dock seals are used, for example, to close off an overhead door during loading and/or unloading. Dock shelters that close to the ground are available in various versions, depending on the size of the opening and the situation. These dock shelters are always fitted with pantographs with springs, to enable springing in the event of a collision. Thus, preventing a much damage as possible to both the building and the dock shelter.
Bottom closure
In addition to the dock shelter itself, it is also possible to use a bottom closure. This is a curtain that is included. This curtain is stretched under the loading platform so that the truck is completely closed all around.
Structurally, all our dock shelters are provided with a hot-dip galvanized construction and flame-retardant cloth in accordance with the M2 and DIN4102B1 standards.
